Fairbairn's Crests: Digital License & Usage Policy

Thank you for choosing Fairbairn's Crests! When you purchase a digital coat of arms or heraldic design from our store, you are purchasing a license to use the artwork subject to the following terms and conditions.

By downloading our digital files, you agree to this policy.

1. Personal & Family Use (Allowed)

Your purchase grants you a standard Personal Use License. We encourage you to celebrate your heritage! You are fully permitted to:

• Print the design for personal display (e.g., framing for your home).
• Use the design on personal items such as wedding invitations, family reunion t-shirts, stationery, or personal tattoos.
• Share with Family: You are welcome to share the purchased, high-resolution digital file with your family members, provided they also adhere strictly to these personal use guidelines.

2. Alterations & Modifications (Allowed)

We understand that family crests can evolve. You are permitted to alter, recolor, modify, or add/remove elements from the original digital file to suit your personal family requirements.

3. Commercial Use & Resale (Strictly Prohibited)

This license is for personal use only. Under no circumstances are you permitted to:

• Resell, redistribute, or sub-license the digital files to the general public.
• Use the designs on merchandise intended for sale (e.g., uploading the crest to print-on-demand sites like Zazzle, Redbubble, or Etsy to sell to others).
• Use the design as a trademark, commercial brand logo, or in any business advertising.

4. Copyright Ownership

All original designs, artwork, and interpretations of historical crests provided in these files are the exclusive creative property of Fairbairn's Crests. Purchasing a digital file grants you a license to use the art; it does not transfer the copyright to you. Fairbairn's Crests retains all copyrights to the artwork.

5. Refund Policy (All Sales Are Final)

Because our products are high-resolution, instant digital downloads, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Therefore, all sales are final. Once a digital file has been purchased and the download link has been generated, we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.
